Each month we will showcase one of our customers to learn more about what their business does and how they use our stamps. This month we are featuring our friends at Estes Express lines. Please see what Mason Smith, Director of Procurement and Corporate Services has to say.
Estes has provided top-quality transportation solutions since 1931. Throughout the years, high integrity and an unwavering commitment to our customers have guided our growth from a small, one-man operation to one of the top 25 carriers in the industry.
Here What Mason has to Say
Estes Express Lines is not only the largest privately held less-than-truckload (LTL) company in North America, it’s also one of the oldest transportation companies of its kind in the United States. We trace our roots back to 1931, when founder W.W. Estes recognized an opportunity in the midst of the Great Depression. Today, his one-man operation has grown into a cutting edge, technology-focused network of more than 200 terminals and over 16,000 employees from coast to coast. Estes uses a variety of Acorn stamps including:
· Date stamps
· Invoice stamps
· Address stamps
· “Uncollectable” stamps
· Check mark stamps
· GL Code stamps
How Acorn has Helped
Most recently, ACORN helped us create a clear and precise image for a QR code that can be read by sensitive software. ACORN also played a key role in producing Hazmat I.D. kits for our trucks in large quantities—in a very short period of time—and without compromising on quality. They made our emergency their emergency, and their customer focus and attention to detail have been second to none. We thank ACORN for their expertise and professionalism.
